Municipal Public Facilities Manuals

Appian designs and writes public facilities manuals for municipalities.  In addition to providing technical specifications and details for Streets & Roadways, Drainage, Water, Sewer, Traffic, etc, the manuals also incorporate a Design Section which includes design elements normally found in a Subdivision Ordinance; specifically, water, sewer, streets, drainage, traffic and plan review .  Our manuals are written in a “user-friendly” format and hyper linked for web or CD use.  Charts, graphs, and drawings are used extensively to convey, at a glance, the specific requirements and desires of the municipality.  As an aid for technical staff review, we also provide plan review and submittal checklists.

Just a few Municipalities that have our Manuals:

  • City of Jacksonville
  • Orange Water and Sewer Authority
  • Town of Wake Forest
  • Town of Clayton
  • City of Wilson
  • City of Greenville, NC
  • City of Durham (In Progress)
  • City of Henderson (under construction)
